Man Stabbed 6 Times In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police say a 26-year-old man is in critical condition after he was stabbed six times inside a North Philadelphia home Friday night.

The incident was reported shortly before 9 p.m. at the 2000 block of N. 9th Street.

Philadelphia police say the 26-year-old was stabbed six times in the left side of the chest.  He was rushed to Temple University Hospital by Temple police.  He is currently listed in critical condition.

Police say a 33-year-old man was stabbed once in the left hand.  He was also taken to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

There is no word on a suspect or motive.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
