Police Investigate Double Shooting In Southwest Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Chopper 3 HD was over the scene of a double shooting in Southwest Philadelphia Wednesday night.
The incident was reported at about 9:45 p.m. near S. 61st Street and Buist Avenue.
Police say a 22-year-old man was shot in the head and shoulder. He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in extremely critical condition.
A 23-year-old man was also shot. There is no word on his condition.
Police are searching for the shooter who they say was last seen driving away in a dark-colored Crown Victoria.
A bullet did go through the window of a nearby house, but no one was injured.
Police are currently reviewing area surveillance video.
The incident remains under investigation.
