Phillies Look For Second Straight Win Over Nats

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies will try to make it back-to-back wins over the Washington Nationals at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday night.
The Phillies opened this three-game series with a 3-2 victory on Monday night, scoring twice in the bottom of the 8th inning to grab the win.
Ethan Martin will make the start for the Phillies in this game. The rookie right-hander is 2-3 since being called up from AAA Lehigh Valley with a 6.39 ERA. Martin has made six starts, lasting more than five innings just once. This will be his first ever appearance against the Nationals.
Washington will start left-hander Gio Gonzalez in this one. The former Phillies minor leaguer is 8-6 for the Nationals this season in 27 starts with a 3.56 ERA. This will be his third start against the Phillies this season, he has gone 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in the first two.
