Woman Struck, Killed By Train On Market Frankford El

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 35-year-old Philadelphia woman whose identity isn't being released was struck and killed by an eastbound Market Frankford El train at the Allegheny station after police investigators determined she fell on the tracks.

The incident happened at 5:45 p.m. Saturday and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy by the medical examiner is pending to determine if the victim may have been under the influence of any substances.

The investigation continues.
