Police Investigate Possible Drag Racing Crash On Roosevelt Boulevard
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police suspect drag racing may have been a contributing factor in a crash around 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning along the Roosevelt Boulevard near Oxford Circle.
Investigators say a driver lost control of a car, left the boulevard, and slammed into a clump of trees.
Witnesses told investigators they thought two cars appeared to be racing when the crash occurred.
The occupants of the car that hit the trees, got out, apparently uninjured, got into a second car and drove away.
