Coast Guard: 2 Boys Rescued From NJ Marsh

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP)The Coast Guard says a helicopter crew has rescued two children who became stranded in the marsh near New Jersey's Oyster Creek.

The agency says the father of the boys, ages 11 and 13, contacted the Coast Guard Air Station in Atlantic City about 8:20 p.m. Saturday. He told the Coast Guard he was fishing with his two sons when they got out of the boat and then became stranded when the tide went out.

The agency says an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew arrived 40 minutes later, hoisted the boys from the marsh and took them to the air station. The boys were in good condition.
