Window Washer Injured In Fall From Center City Apartment Complex

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -– A window washer was taken to the hospital after falling five stories in Center City Thursday afternoon.
The fall happened at about 2 p.m. at the Rittenhouse Claridge at 18th and Walnut Streets.
According to authorities, an unidentified worker from LWC City Window Washer was washing windows when he somehow fell from the seventh floor to a second-floor balcony.
The worker was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in stable condition.
It was not immediately known what caused the worker to fall in the first place.
The incident remains under investigation.
