Robbery Of West Oak Lane Pizza Hut Caught On Tape

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who was caught on tape using a threatening note to rob a pizza establishment.

The incident happened at about 10:20 p.m. Monday at the Pizza Hut in the 6200 block of Stenton Avenue in the city's West Oak Lane section.

As several employees were working in the rear of the restaurant, the suspect entered the store and waited at the front counter.

When an employee approached the front counter, the suspect handed the employee a demand note that read "Give me all the money."

The employee then opened the cash register and placed the drawer on the counter. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money from the drawer and ran out.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 25-years-of-age with a stocky build. He was wearing a gray t-shirt with "AMERICA" in red capital letters on the front.
