PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Just days after 20-year-old Luis Martinez was arrested for allegedly pointing a laser at a police helicopter (see previous story), another man has been arrested for the same offense.

On Thursday, August 15th around 8:30 p.m., the Philadelphia Police Helicopter was on patrol when it was hit by a high intensity green laser beam from a laser pointer on the ground in the area of Malta and Cayuga Streets.

The light hit the officers in the eyes, causing pain and temporary vision loss.

Authorities arrested 19-year-old Jose Feliciano, of the 5900 block of Roosevelt Boulevard, in the 4300 block of Malta Street and recovered the laser pointer.

Feliciano is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Causing/Risking a Catastrophe, Possessing an Instrument in Crime, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Harassment.
