Pennsylvania Woman Knees Would-Be Abductor In Groin

YORK, Pa. (AP) -- Authorities say a Pennsylvania woman fought off a would-be abductor by kneeing him in the groin.

Police say the incident happened about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in Lower Windsor Township, York County, when the woman was jogging along a road.

The woman say the man pulled up in a vehicle and asked if she needed a ride, which she declined. The man kept following her, eventually got out of his car and grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around.

Police say that's when the woman kneed the man and ran to a nearby store for help.

The man drove away. Police say he's white in his late 40s to early 50s, with a medium build and bad teeth. Police say he was driving a four-door tan or gold sedan, with a ladder strapped to the roof.
