Lesley's Last Word: Vick And Foles Impress So Far

By Lesley Van Arsdall

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After one preseason game we are really no closer to projecting a winner in the quarterback competition.

Here's the good news -- I thought both Michael Vick and Nick Foles looked good, but I would give the edge to Vick, who had the biggest play of the night with a 47-yard touchdown pass to DeSean Jackson.

Vick finished the game completing four of five passes for 94 yards and that TD. Foles went 5/6 for 43 yards.

After the game, Chip Kelly said "they both got us into the end zone, so I was pleased with how those guys played."

When you look at the numbers, there is no clear winner here, so we can expect this to drag on for awhile.

As for Matt Barkley, he needs some work. With that being said, he is a rookie and he did throw for 103 yards and a touchdown in his first game as an Eagle.

So who do you think should start at QB for the Eagles? That's a question that's going to be asked over and over again during the next three weeks.
