Fire Rips Through 2 Trenton Row Homes

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) - Officials say a fire broke out in a row home in Trenton, New Jersey Saturday night, then quickly spread to the row home next door.

The 3-alarm fire began around 9:45 p.m. at the home located at 54 Franklin Street.

"I've never seen anything like this before," neighbor Melissa James said. "It was something that I would never want to experience again. I seen firefighters knocking on the doors, they did a great job."

Two homes were engulfed in flames. One family was displaced and one home was unoccupied. No injuries were reported.

Neighbors also say recently several homes have caught fire on that block.

This fire remains under investigation.
