Police: Woman Shot In Head In Northern Liberties
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after a 26-year-old transgendered woman was shot in the head at her Northern Liberties home Tuesday night.
Medics responded to a 911 call at about 8 p.m. to an apartment building located at the unit block of W. Girard Avenue.
The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition.
Police say officers located a shell casing inside the apartment.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Police are investigating.
