Police: Aircraft Cleaner At PHL Faces Theft Charges
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say an aircraft cleaning supervisor at Philadelphia International Airport is facing theft charges.
Philadelphia Police say 23-year-old Terrell Coard, of Philadelphia, was arrested for theft, forgery identity theft and related charges Thursday.
According to authorities, a victim reported that he lost his wallet containing credit cards and ID after his flight landed at Philadelphia International Airport on June 8th.
Police say acting upon information obtained, a search warrant was served and authorities recovered the victim's wallet, some of the missing ID cards, a card on one of the newly opened accounts, a credit card in another victim's name, and pay stubs with Coard's information.
According to authorities, the investigation revealed Coard was an employee of Prospect Aircraft Services as a supervisor and was supervising the crew that cleaned the plane on which the victim arrived in Philadelphia.
Coard has been charged with Theft and related charges.
