UPDATE: Man Removed From Home; Barricade Situation Ends In Bucks County

BEDMINSTER Twp., Pa., (CBS) – After a tense afternoon, a barricade situation has ended after a man was removed by police from inside of a Bucks County home Thursday.

According to officials, police responded at about 2 p.m. to 400 block of Saddlery Drive in Bedminster Township.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene as SWAT units responded to a residence where a man was barricaded inside.

Bedminster police advised residents to shelter in place earlier this afternoon due to the police activity.

Eyewitness News is told police used armored cars to evacuate neighbors.

Shortly before 5 p.m., police made their way inside of the residence where officers found the man injured.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment and mental health evaluation.

He is not facing criminal charges at this time.
