Ben Revere's Surgery Requires Two Screws
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Ben Revere had surgery today to repair a fracture in his right foot.
The surgery, performed at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, required two screws be placed percutaneously (through the skin) across the fracture.
Revere will be non-weight bearing on the foot for two weeks, and his tentative return to action is between six and eight weeks.
Revere sustained the fracture when he fouled a ball off his right foot in a game against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday.
