UPDATE: 1 of 3 Escaped Pa. Inmates Recaptured; 2 Sought

WERNERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — State police say one of three inmates who escaped from a Berks County prison last week has been recaptured, while the others are still being sought.

Troopers said they took 28-year-old Ryan Celani into custody Monday after receiving a tip that he was at a fast food restaurant along Route 61 in Schuylkill Haven.

Investigators said Celani pulled a fire alarm Friday afternoon at Wernersville Corrections Center in South Heidelberg Township and escaped along with 22-year-old Jeremy Collazo.

Less than four hours later, police say 25-year-old Adam Murphy also pulled a fire alarm and escaped. Police say he was last seen getting into a gold-colored Honda Civic with New York plates.

Officials say the escapes are similar to two that occurred last month when three inmates escaped during fire alarms.
