Car Crashes Through Home In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chopper 3 HD was over the scene after a car crashed through a home in Northeast Philadelphia Monday night.

The incident happened at about 8:15 p.m. at Frankford Avenue and Welsh Road in the Holmesburg section.

It appears the car drove straight through the home.

Officials say the building is vacant.

Medics evaluated the 79-year-old driver at the scene.  He was not injured in the incident.

No other injuries were reported.
