PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Centerfielder Ben Revere will have surgery on a broken right ankle Tuesday at the Rothman Institute, and will miss between six and eight weeks, the Phillies announced today.
The surgery will be performed by Dr. Steven Raikin.
The injury occurred when Revere fouled a ball off his ankle in the first game of Saturday’s double-header against the White Sox.
