Police: Homeless Woman Stabs Man After Argument In Center City


PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Officials say a homeless woman stabbed a 42-year-old man several times after an argument in Center City.

The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. Friday along the 1200 block of Locust Street near the Walgreens.

According to police, a man and homeless woman, identified as 47-year-old Tamya Davis, became engaged in an argument and the homeless woman stabbed the man once in the right arm.

The victim was taken to Jefferson Hospital in stable condition.

Eyewitness News was on the scene as the alleged stabber was arrested.

Davis was charged with aggravated assault and related offenses.

The incident is being investigated.
