Woman Dies After Allegedly Falling Down Steep Incline In Montgomery County

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. (CBS) -- Police say a Bala Cynwyd resident who was searching for her lost dog ended up losing her life.

On Wednesday evening, 48-year-old Deborah Tobin was reported missing after she went into Eco Valley Nature Park in search of her missing dog.

Following an extensive search by police, Tobin was found dead around 11:45 p.m. on private property on the 100 block of Rock Hill Road.

Police say she appeared to have fallen down a steep incline and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Montgomery County Coroner's office will determine the specific cause of Tobin's death, but it appears accidental.
