Cops: 61-Year-Old Delaware Woman Charged After Buying Pot With Kids In Vehicle
DOVER, Del. (CBS) – Police say a 61-year-old woman was arrested after officers observed her purchase marijuana from a man in Delaware.
The incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Liberty Court Apartments, located at 1289 Walker Road in Dover.
According to authorities, officers observed a drug transaction involving a vehicle and made contact with 36-year-old Undray Moaney, of Dover, who was found to have 1.8 grams of cocaine in his pants.
Officials say officers then stopped the vehicle, driven by 61-year-old Mildred Waters of Dover, which had two children, one and nine, inside.
Police say Waters was found to have 4.5 grams of marijuana which she had just purchased.
Both Moaney and Waters were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and related offences.
