PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are looking for the gunman who robbed a mechanic’s garage in North Philadelphia late this morning and got away with cash and vehicle inspection stickers.

According to police, the incident happened at ARM Enterprises and Auto Repair, in the 1200 block of Ridge Avenue, about 11am.

Investigators say the man held employees at gunpoint and demanded cash and inspection stickers from the safe.  They say the bandit ran off with about $1,000 in cash, 150 state inspection stickers, and 125 emissions inspection stickers.

Police say as he ran out of the garage, the gunman fired shots in the direction of the employees but no one was hit.
