NJ Brewery Releases Bottled Version Of Superstorm Sandy Beer

SOMERDALE, NJ (CBS) – A New Jersey brewery is now bottling a popular limited edition beer.

Flying Fish Brewing Company, located in Somerdale, has announced it will be selling a bottled version of its popular Forever Unloved (F.U.) Sandy beer, a hybrid wheat pale ale.

Previously available only on draught, the beer was released in February following Superstorm Sandy to raise money for the storm's victims (see previous story).

So far, Flying Fish says sales of F.U. Sandy have generated more than $45,000 for New Jersey victims of Sandy.

F.U. Sandy will be available in some area bars, and Flying Fish says it hopes proceeds from the bottles – as well as from branded hats, t-shirts and pint glasses – will generate an additional $25,000 for storm victims.
