2 Injured After Pa. Bus Gets Stuck Under Ramp In NYC

NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities are investigating how a double-decker bus from Pennsylvania got wedged on a ramp at the Port Authority bus terminal in Manhattan.

Megabus spokesman Mike Alvich says two passengers were treated for minor injuries following the incident Tuesday morning.

Alvich says the bus was supposed to stop at Seventh Avenue and 28th Street — not at the terminal. It was coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel when it got stuck in the West 40th Street ramp.

The bus was carrying 66 passengers. It had left Pittsburgh at 11:45 p.m. Monday and stopped in State College, Pa. at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Port Authority spokesman Chris Valens says the driver received a summons.
