Video Released Of Violent Attack Aboard SEPTA Bus

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for three suspects in connection with a violent assault aboard a SEPTA bus earlier this week.

The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on a SEPTA night owl bus on N. Broad Street in the city's Logan section.

According to investigators, a group of three males followed the 25-year-old victim onto the bus. Once on the bus, all three suspects approached the victim in the rear of the bus.

After a brief conversation, the suspects began to kick, punch and stomp the victim after he fell to the ground of the bus.

After attacking the victim, the suspects ran off the bus.

The victim was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment of injuries to his eye, face and arm.

SEPTA and Philadelphia police are currently investigating the incident. Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
