That’s the question on the streets of South Philadelphia as people speculate about the winner, while at the same time being thrilled it happened in their neighborhood.

Mark says his cellphone has been buzzing:

“Yeah I keep getting different names, I don’t know how true it is. One definite text is that they heard a lady won. No name.”

Ted hasn’t heard anything but he says, “I’m anxious to see who it is!”

Vinnie Tabita stopped by Federal Beer, where the winning ticket was sold , to congratulate longtime friend and owner Gary Patel:

“I’ve known him a long time, he’s a good person. Couldn’t have been a better person to buy it from. I just wish I had bought it!”

Whoever the winner is, they will have to go through the claims process as Pennsylvania Lottery Spokesperson Gary Miller explains:

“They are invited into our room called ‘The Winner’s Circle’.” That is where they present the ticket and fill out a prize claim form. Our staff immediately begins validating the ticket, and once that is done, it’s time for happy handshakes.”

And that’s no rumor!
