Firefighters Find Body At Allentown Blaze

ALLENTOWN, Pa., (CBS) – Officials say firefighters found a body at an Allentown blaze on Wednesday night, but the death was unrelated to the fire.

The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. at the 800 block of N. Jerome Street.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene.

Allentown Fire Department officials say firefighters responded to a small fire and found the body of a 58-year-old man.  A portable electrical appliance appears to have started the blaze.

According to fire officials, the death is not related to the blaze.

Allentown Police and the coroner's office are investigating the death.
