PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A popular Philadelphia food event has been canceled due to the weather.
The Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll, which takes place from 43rd to 50th along Baltimore Avenue, was called off via Twitter around 10 a.m. on Thursday.
“Mother Nature wins. Thursday’s Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll will be postponed until July,” the University City District, which puts on the event, tweeted.
Thursday evening was supposed to be the first installation of the mobile feast in 2013, but hungry fans won’t have to wait long to indulge: The next Dollar Stroll is slated for West Oak Lane on June 20th.
