Downed Trees Due To Storm Cause Closure Of Cape May County Park, Zoo

CAPE MAY, N.J. (CBS) – County officials have announced that the Cape May County Park and Zoo has been closed due to the weather.

Officials say at least five trees are down and power lines have been damaged due to inclement weather Thursday morning.

Officials confirm that power has been restored and staff members are working to remove the fallen trees.

The animals were taken off exhibit and none were injured by the storm.
