Police Release Surveillance Video Of Point Breeze Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting and aggravated assault on Saturday.

The incident happened at about 11 p.m. on the 1200 block of 15th Street in Point Breeze.

Philadelphia Police say officers responded to a report of a shooting and found a 24-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his left thigh and buttock.

Police say a surveillance video system captured the incident, depicting three suspects approaching the corner of 15th and Wharton Streets allegedly confronting the victim.

According to authorities, the armed suspects began chasing the victim on foot and allegedly fired multiple shots at the victim.

One suspect is described as a Black male, 17 to 20 years-of-age, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. A second suspect is described as a Black male, 17- to 20 years-of-age, wearing a burgundy hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. A third suspect is described as a Black male, 17-20 years-of-age, black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police say the suspects fled on foot towards the 1600 block of Wharton Street.
