Teen Girl Shot In Eye In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Authorities say a 13-year-old girl was struck in the eye by a stray bullet in North Philadelphia Sunday.

According to police, the girl was an innocent bystander standing in the way of gun shots fired at 23rd and West Norris Streets.

The girl was taken to Temple Hospital and is in stable condition.

The shooter reportedly fled the scene in a car, then ran away on foot after crashing nearby the site of the shooting.

Police are investigating.
