1 Dead In School Bus-Involved Crash In Delaware County

UPPER CHICHESTER, Pa., (CBS) – A driver is dead after crashing into the back of a school bus in Delaware County on Tuesday.

The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. at Conchester Highway and Chelsea Parkway in Upper Chichester.

Upper Chichester Police say a Chichester School District bus was stopped at a red light at the intersection when it was struck from behind by a car.

Police say the driver of the car, 20-year-old Brian Brlansky of Avondale, Pa., was pronounced dead at the scene.

One female student, an aide, and the bus driver were on the school bus at the time of the crash, but they were not injured.
