EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (CBS) – The New Jersey born man who lost his legs in the Boston bombings came home Sunday for a fundraiser organized by his family.
Jeffrey Bauman’s cousin, Courtney, and her parents, Jeffrey and Terri Bauman, hosted “Boston strong, Bauman strong” hoping not only to benefit Jeffrey Bauman, but to also say thank you to those who showed concern in the hours following the explosion.
Jeffrey Bauman proved critical to the investigation describing in detail the suspect who placed a bag at his feet.
Sunday’s fundraiser was held at Christie’s Bar and Restaurant in Egg Harbor Township and all the money raised will go towards his expenses.
To contribute, email the family at Baumanstrong@comcast.net, facebook Courtney Bauman or Terri Bauman, or call (609) 652-6464.
