Woman Found Dead Inside Home Of Philadelphia Attorney

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say a 26-year-old woman was found dead inside the Center City home of a high-profile Philadelphia attorney Saturday morning.
According to authorities, the victim, Julia Law, was found face down in the bathtub inside the condo of attorney Charles Peruto, Jr., located on the 2000 block of Delancy, Street just after 10 a.m.
The victim, who is the paralegal of Peruto, Jr., was reportedly unresponsive when she was discovered and was pronounced dead a short while later.
Sources say Peruto Jr. was in Avalon, New Jersey for the weekend. A friend of his came to the house to get some of his belongings for him, and discovered the victim in the 3rd floor bathroom.
Authorities say Peruto, Jr. was questioned by homicide detectives, but is said to be a witness, and not a suspect for now.
Detectives are investigating the cause of death.
