Suspect Wanted In Sex Assault Of 15-Year-Old In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged sexual assault in East Germantown on Sunday.

The incident happened at about 10:40 p.m. on the 6000 block of Wister Street.

Investigators say a 15-year-old female was walking from a friend's house and saw an unknown man riding a bike. While walking past an alley, authorities say the man approached her, showing a gun and told her not to look at him.

Investigators say the suspect then forced the victim into the alley where he sexually assaulted her. After the assault, police say the suspect fled north on Wister Street.

The suspect is described as a Black male, 5'9", with an average build and light complexion. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants riding a mountain bike.
