Police Investigate 'Inappropriate Touching' Incident At West Philadelphia Elementary School

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating an incident involving "inappropriate touching" at an elementary school in West Philadelphia.

Special Victim's Investigators were notified just before 2 p.m. Monday of the alleged incident at John Barry Elementary School located in the 5900 block of Race Street.

Officials from the School District of Philadelphia say three first graders were involved in an "inappropriate touching" incident inside a school bathroom.

A letter was sent home to parents immediately alerting them of the incident.
