Victim Claims $24K Stolen During Home Invasion In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating an overnight home invasion in Philadelphia.
The incident occurred just before 12:30 a.m. on the 7100 block of Paschall Avenue.
According to police, two suspects entered the home through a kitchen window, duct taped the victims and forced them to open a safe.
Police say the victims claim the safe had about $24,000 inside.
Officials say the suspects fled with the money, a laptop and several cell phones.
One victim suffered a slight injury to the head after being hit with the butt of a shotgun, but police say the victim is refusing treatment.
The incident is being investigated.
