Wilmington Woman Wins $2 Million In Powerball Drawing

WILMINGTON, Del., (CBS) – A 34-year-old woman from Wilmington won $2 million in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, Delaware lottery officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at Jay's Liquors located at 900 N. DuPont Street in Wilmington.

Lottery officials said she is one of only two $2 million winners in the country.

Delaware lottery officials said a $10,000 winning ticket was sold at the Daily Market in Lewes, but the winner has not yet come forward.

With no grand prize winner in Wednesday night's drawing, the Powerball jackpot increased from $360 million to $550 million.  A lump sum payout would be $350.1 million.

Lottery officials said the current jackpot ranks as the second largest in Powerball history, and the third largest jackpot overall.

The winning numbers from Wednesday's drawing were 2, 11, 26, 34, and 31, and Powerball 32.

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday.
