Driver Killed In Radnor Township

RADNOR Twp., Pa., (CBS) – Eyewitness News is told an 18-year-old driver was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Radnor Township Thursday night.

The incident happened at about 7:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of Eagle Road in Radnor Township.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene.

It appears the driver, identified as Paul Pratt, crashed into a tree.  There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say Pratt attended Episcopal Academy and was a member of the rowing team. He was supposed to compete in Friday's Stotesbury Regatta.

Police say Pratt was not wearing a seatbelt and that the cause of the crash appears to be driver error, however they are still trying to determine what happened.
