Philadelphia Studio Hosting Beyonce-themed Dance Workshop
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Want to learn to dance like Beyonce? Here's your chance.
This May, The Arts Parlor is hosting a "hip-rolling, booty-shaking" Beyonce-themed dance workshop.
Participants will learn follow-the-leader routines to Destiny's Child and Beyonce hits like "Baby Boy" and "End of Time" before learning longer combinations, including modified versions of "Dance for You" and "Get Me Bodied." Choreography will be broken down so that all wannabe Beys can get the hang of it.
The concept of a Beyonce dance class started back in February, when members of The Arts Parlor watched the singer shake it on stage at the Super Bowl then asked on the organization's Facebook page whether anyone would be interested in a themed workshop spotlighting Sasha Fierce.
Clearly, many people were.
