Salisbury Police Warn Residents Of Rash Of Daytime Burglaries

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. (CBS) – Police in Salisbury, Pennsylvania are asking for assistance from the public to help stop an outbreak of burglaries.

According to police, several daytime burglaries have occurred last week with one occurring on Lehigh Parkway North on Monday and another happening on the 2500 block of Lindberg Ave Tuesday morning.

Police say the front doors of the homes are forced open and the burglaries seem to occur between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Officials confirm all homes were unoccupied at the time of the burglaries.

According to the Facebook page of the Salisbury Township Police Department, there was another similar outbreak in March where the suspects entered homes during the day through windows and doors.

Officials are asking all residents to be observant and say patrols have been increased in targeted neighborhoods.

Anyone with information or anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to call 610-437-5252 or 911.
