Reward Offered In Carjacking Of Family In Radnor

By Michelle Durham

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- As a Radnor family recovers following Monday night's rare armed carjacking and robbery after purchasing several thousand dollars worth of merchandise from a Lancaster Avenue computer store, Radnor Police say they are following up on a number of tip calls they received.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved. (See Related Story)

Radnor Township Police Lieutenant Andy Block says the phones have been ringing off the hook with tips and information. He says they are following every lead.

"I just want to remind the public that there are two people of interest, suspects that are involved in this robbery and carjacking. One is a stocky black male in his 30's wearing a blue hoodie, blue sweatpants and he had silver-framed sunglasses with blue lenses," Block explained.

Block says the second person of interest is the male waiting by a white Toyota Avalon after the first male drove the family across the street to a rear parking lot.

"He's a white male, late 40's to early 50's, who is balding with gray hair."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Radnor Police Department at 610-688-0503 and ask for the Detective Bureau.
