Pedestrian Struck, Killed On PA Turnpike In King Of Prussia

 KING OF PRUSSIA, PA., (CBS) - A pedestrian was struck and killed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in King of Prussia on Monday night.

The incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near the Allendale Road overpass in Upper Merion Township.

Pennsylvania State Police are on scene and confirm that the person was fatally struck by a tractor trailer.

The driver of the tractor trailer stopped at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

At this time, the center and right lanes are closed, with traffic getting by in the left lane.

There is no word on what caused the incident.
