Male Body Found Floating In Canal In Atlantic City
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) – Atlantic City police say a male body was found floating in the Penrose Avenue Canal Sunday morning.
Authorities say a woman walking her pet down the 1800 block of Horace Bryant Drive called just after 8:20 a.m. about a body floating in the water.
Police say a male's body was found and turned over to the medical examiner for an autopsy, who identified him as 49-year-old Patrick Jacobs.
According to police, Jacobs was last seen and spoken to on April 6th.
Officials say there is no sign of foul play.
The cause of death is under investigation.
