Woman Dies In Gloucester County Accident

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – A woman is dead after crashing her car into a school bus on Tuesday.

The accident happened shortly after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Route 47 and Williamstown Road in Franklin, when a Hyundai entered the intersection and was struck by the empty bus, which had a green light.

The woman in the Hyundai died at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of her family.

Both the school bus driver and an aide who was onboard suffered minor injuries.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and Franklin Township Police Department are investigating.
