N.J. Flags To Be Lowered In Honor Of Bombing Victims
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Gov. Chris Christie has ordered flags at all New Jersey state buildings to be flown at half-staff to honor those killed and injured in the bombings at the Boston Marathon.
The executive order issued Tuesday night calls for the flags to be lowered on Thursday.
Besides honoring the victims, Christie says the flag lowering also marks "the suffering inflicted upon the city of Boston" by the bombings.
