PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Former Rutgers head basketball coach Mike Rice is still coaching.

Rice is coaching his daughter’s AAU team, and has been for the last several years. According to at least one report, Rice’s temperament hasn’t changed much since he was fired at Rutgers.

Brian Geltzeiler of HoopsCritic.com tweeted on Sunday that Rice is “still acting like a mad man,” while coaching the AAU team of “seventh grade girls.” He also wrote that Rice was acting as “crazy as ever,” and told one 12 year-old girl “I can’t even look at you.

SNY reports that a source close to the AAU team says the “report is a gross misrepresentation of the facts. The team’s parents are fully behind Coach Rice and his instruction of their daughters.”

Should Mike Rice be coaching youth basketball? Let us know what you think in the comments.
