Real-life Hamburglar Steals $100K Worth Of Hamburger Patties

LINDEN, N.J. (AP) — A real-life hamburglar has struck a northern New Jersey business.

Police are looking for thieves who made off with $100,000 worth of hamburger patties sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning in Linden.

Police tell The Star-Ledger of Newark (http://bit.ly/1515ZbL) that the thieves stole an entire shipping container from the yard of BMG Logistics.

Some surveillance footage shows a tractor pulling the refrigerated, 40-foot container out of the yard.

The container had been shipped from Kansas City and was en route to the Netherlands. The hamburgers were to be distributed to Hilton Hotels outside the U.S.
