Overnight Shooting Kills 1 In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say one man is dead and another injured after a shooting in North Philadelphia.

The incident occurred around 10:37 p.m. Saturday night on the 700 block of West Venango Street.

According to police, an unidentified 36-year-old male was shot multiple times and a 42-year-old male was shot in his left foot.

The 36-year-old was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:55 p.m.

The unidentified 42-year-old was also transported to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
